Hello everyone! I hope you all are healthy and happy. 🌺
I wanted to open a quick discussion about Hamari Raahein. For a while now, I've felt like the separation arc involving Karan was pushed into the storyline just for the sake of adding drama.
I used to think a relationship without conflicts felt artificial, but now I feel the story could have been far better without that forced tension. After all who even comes here to read about anything related to reality?
Whenever I think about Someshwar pulling away from Tara over a silly stunt from Karan, it just doesn't sit right with me. So, I'm planning to replace that with a fresh sequence, as well as touch up some of the earlier romantic moments.
I honestly have no ideas or scenes in mind for that but I always feel like Som and Tara deserved to have much more effort from my end. They could have grown into something much more.
I understand that the gap between the person that I am now, and the person that I used to be when I started that book, has everything to do with this. You guys must have started noticing the changes? I used to write differently in 2023, and now in 2026 it has shifted into something completely different.
I'd really appreciate your honest feedback on this! How do you feel about removing that separation sequence?
How did you feel when you were reading the sequence back then? Did you find that offputting?
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing by my writing and giving it so much love. ❤️ Despite being such a flawed peice, as my first book, You guys have given so much love to that book and I can never be ungrateful for that.
